Celebrating Our AccessNurse Team Members
In honor of all the hard work that our team members do each day, we hosted a virtual Team Member Appreciation celebration here at AccessNurse to show our gratitude. This year, we are incredibly proud of our team members who helped play an essential role during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing value-based care to patients when they need it the most.
While the pandemic brought many difficult challenges, it highlighted the importance our team members make in the healthcare community, especially for our clients and their patients.
Their hard work and dedication do not go unrecognized, which is why we wanted to focus on them and all that they do for our company and our clients.
Our Hearts for Caring Extends Beyond Our Clients
We recognize the importance of taking care of our own. That’s why we support, empower, and show appreciation towards each other.
We sent our team members gift cards, a special thank you video from leadership and hosted a raffle to show our thanks. To continue bringing our company closer together, we also invited our team members to share their stories and experiences.
Check out what some of our team members had to say:
- “I enjoy getting to meet the needs of my callers. COVID has created a lot of change, but it has also created the opportunity for teaching, learning, empathy, compassion, and caring — these are all qualities that drew me into nursing many years ago and keeps me here.” — Rhonda Bowers, AccessNurse Triage Nurse
- “I feel proud to be part of the AccessNurse team and feel like I make a difference in our patients’ families’ lives daily.” — Anita Burns, AccessNurse Triage Nurse
- “I have never felt more at home and appreciated at a workplace. I love my job and coworkers and am happy to be a part of this team. I am thankful to have this job where I can help patients who are experiencing symptoms without being in direct contact during this pandemic.” — Kayla Stinnett, AccessNurse Patient Coordinator
- “Empathy has helped the quality of care I’m able to provide as a Patient Coordinator. I’ve noticed that a positive tone and smile, along with kind words, can make for someone in distress.” — Trey Henderson, AccessNurse Patient Coordinator
- “This year has been tough, to say the least, with Covid-19. Although It has been hard for most of us, I think it says a lot about our character when we still go above and beyond for our patients with a smile on our face no matter what’s going on.” — Alicia Elliott, AccessNurse Patient Coordinator
- “Having the opportunity to listen and triage patients is so rewarding. I am so appreciative of the role I can play in our patient’s lives.” — Jeanne Gilmartin, AccessNurse Patient Coordinator
As we continue to press forward through this challenging flu season for healthcare workers, we are thankful for our team members who provide compassionate care to our clients patients, each and every day.
